Welcome to Narnia Young Parents Wyong
Welcome to Narnia Young Parents. We are delighted that you are interested in learning more about our centre.
Narnia Young Parents exists to provide a supportive partnership for our parents who are studying at the Young Parents Hub. This site has been designed to introduce you to our program and the unique environment it provides for nurturing the development of your child.
We understand that as much as our young parents are determined to improve their own circumstances, their motivation is to provide a loving environment for their little ones and to improve the future prospects for their babies.
Our fully qualified Christian Educators understand that the first few years of a child’s life are a time of extraordinary development. Whilst their parents are studying in the classroom, the children are engaged in a stimulating, early learning program.
The student classroom is adjacent to Narnia, enabling the parents to participate in the daily nurturing of their children. The curriculum for some of the courses studied by the parents also incorporates activities planned for the babies.
Each baby and toddler we care for is a special gift and uniquely created. We are eager to get to know each child and watch their journey of discovering all that God has created them to be.

Meet Our Staff
Narnia staff are educated and experienced in Early Childhood education. We follow the Early Years Learning Framework to provide developmentally appropriate activities which are stimulating, challenging and creative and which cater for individual needs and interests. We provide flexible programs which promote self-discovery, spontaneous learning, independence and a positive self-esteem.
Our greatest aim is for all children to feel safe and secure in a loving Christian environment. This is the greatest entry point for learning.
I started work in Child Care when my 4th child was in primary school. I missed having little people around so this was to be my next calling. I adore working with the beautiful families here at Narnia Young Parents. I have to say that this is honestly the most rewarding, challenging and heartfelt place that I have ever worked. I love that we have created a true sense of belonging here.
It is an absolute pleasure to be able to be apart of these children’s lives. Contributing to their development, watching moments of growth and seeing their happy faces makes Narnia Young Parents a wonderful environment to be a part of.

I started in Children’s Ministry at age 15, teaching Sunday School. I have a Diploma in Children’s Services. Serving God & His little children is my calling. It is a privilege to serve at Narnia Young Parents Wyong, with a great team of dedicated staff.
My husband Peter & I worship at Macquarie Life Church and we are blessed with 2 (adult) children. I am also blessed to be ‘Grani’ to 3 precious Grandchildren. I help care for them the 3 days per week that I am not serving in Lucy’s Room at Narnia. It is an honour to support the young parents at Wyong Hub by caring for their precious children as they study; while helping to nurture their child’s growth, development & learning

I have been working in Early Childhood Education since completing my Diploma in 1994. I am passionate about spending time with children, watching them grow and develop and having a positive impact on their lives.
I have an amazing family and 3 awesome children who I love spending time with. I enjoy catching up with friends, walking, cups of tea and winter days.

I completed my Cert III in 2018. Since then I have loved working with children and being a part of the DALE Young Parents Creche team.
I have 2 beautiful daughters. Being a mum has attributed to my passion for working with children. I believe every child has a voice, no matter how young they are. My interests include fitness, running, painting, the outdoors, spending time at the beach and with my friends and family.
I look forward to many more years of working as an Early Childhood Educator at Narnia Young Parents.

I completed my Certificate III in 2017. I live on the Central Coast and am a proud mum of two beautiful children. I am a positive and nurturing person and I believe it is most important to create an environment where children are safe, respected, supported and loved while in care.
I love engaging with the children in play, watching them explore and learn new things every day.

After completing my certificate 111 in Early Childhood Education I did some voluntary work at Wyong Young Parents Hub and to my delight was offered a position as a staff member.
I am so lucky to be working with all the wonderful staff and children here at Narnia Young Parents. Watching the little ones grow and feel comfortable in their personalities and talents is so rewarding. I feel blessed to be able to contribute to their journey and overall experience at Narnia Young Parents!

For as long as I can remember I have loved spending time with children and so it was obvious to me that I would, one day work with them.
Being blessed with 3 amazing daughters myself, I look forward to sharing what I have learned with you and your family.
I am strong believer in social & emotional development and in a safe & happy environment, given the right support and opportunities, your children will learn great skills for life.

I have volunteered with children for many years and I’m completely fascinated by how they engage with the world. Working in this environment is so rewarding; seeing how children develop and grow as they are being sown into.
I have been a part of the St Philip’s family in another administrative role so when this opportunity came up I knew it would be the perfect fit for me. When I’m not doing admin I love being creative through photography, design and film.
